Well guys seems i have found my passion again....

spent many many many days admiring the odd v8 holden & HSV roll past while the V8 Bmw was nice it just didnt have that
FUN factor of a manual v8

Well guess that leads me to my new machine, was a tough call and god knows i almost took a loan for 80k then i kinda remember back only 18 months ago wow i had 3 HSV's but with wrong person hinde sight is such a well new lady new lease on life 4wding camping like actually leaving the house as a couple wasnt long to i was staring at that car in the car yard and looking at my beast she said buy one and lets finish the senator

so last night we purchased a vt ss s2 5.7 ls1 6spd sure its little rough around the edges but i guess its not only about buying the latest and greatest toys but the journey & life experiences freinds family uniting over a car or love for cars...

sorry if i have dragged this on but it sure is nice to be part of a team working towards a common goal in life.

Funny but true story this is the first v8 Mel has driven besides my v8 SUV and first manual other than an astra sooo was a memorable first cruise

Good to be back had it almost 48 hours so far its been polished allthough needs another going over lol
We have ordered some paint to spray front bumper and wing & thrown on a meaty exhaust

Well i guess you could call it a curse but i think i'm just a sucker for punishment so i guess ill spill

so i ordered gm turbo killer cam from gm motorsports & a victor Jnr manifold turned up on facebook ( not that i was looking haha) really cheap so was like how can i resist lol so now need a hole in bonnet... yeah and then it all goes south from there all really north depending who you are in my household

so now im like well ill check adverts for bonnets and maybe build another reverse cowl lol and then i spotted complete genuine HSV kit and come on guys it is me who am i to deny who I am lol

actually thinking of buying the vt senator signature rear lip spoiler and the vx gts 300 rear window shade instead of clubby wing not really fan of big wings

so photos of bonnet coming for now here is the body kit pre paint lol

Same wheels & 4 inch reverse cowl on bonnet looks like i secured a paint booth for 28th oct so gotta pull my finger out and get it ready

Got lazy stuck the kit and custom bonnet into panel shop to get smoothed out and high filled then 2k primed

Managed to secure a genuine plastic vt senator spoiler & vt senator front grille just currently ordering the rear window spoiler/shade then i officially have full kit

Helped my sis upgrade her vt v6 calais to vz calais 5.7 yesterday her vt is basically dead so im swapping out chrome window surrounds tonight lol
