Event: Shannons Wheels Day Car Show - ACT

Cost: Gold Coin entry

Location: Lawns of old Parliament House - Canberra

Date: Sunday 15 May 2015

Time: Need to be in by 9.00am

Details for the day:
Drip trays are mandatory:
(A drip tray needs to be impervious to oil. It also needs to be deep enough, long enough and wide enough to catch and contain any spillage, seepage or drips from the vehicle while on display. It MUST also be taken away or disposed of responsibly when the vehicle is removed from the site.)

Sydney Members:

Meet point: Pheasants Nest Service Station (heading south, just south of Picton Road on Hume Highway)

Meet time: 5.30am for 6.00am departure

We will be leaving Pheasants Nest at 6.00am SHARP , so if you are late you will be left behind.

If anyone from Canberra wants to meet up for the day, please advise asap so we can arrange a meet point.

What to bring:
UHF radio
Cash for food
Chair
Sun screen
Full tank of petrol
Sense of humour

It's going to be a great day guys. I've been in contact with the organisers to let them know we are coming.

Gotta be in the grounds by 9am so it's a 6am and we are on the road.

Drip trays required, so bring a cheapie or make ya own out of a old box and tin foil.

Can I have a show of who is brining what ie marques, poles, banner, table etc

I'll bring my marque and table.

Shannons Wheels 2016: RELOCATED!
Date: Sunday, 15th May 2016, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Venue: Treasury Building car park, Newlands Street and Langton Crescent

Shannons’ Wheels – RELOCATED

Wheels 2016 has been transferred to Newlands Street and Langton Crescent Car Parks due to wet weather
◾The NCA has advised that the East, West and North Lawns (Old Parliament House Lawns) and John Dunmore Lang Lawns will no longer be available for Wheels 2016 this Sunday 15 May, due to the continued wet weather.
◾An alternative wet weather plan has been submitted to the NCA which has been approved. This will involve using the car parks around the Treasury Building with access off Newlands Street and Langton Crescent

Question: As we will be on tarmac for tomorrow, how will we secure the marques?

We may not even have space to put them up.

Bright and early tomorrow am one and all.

We are picking Coxi and Doreen up at that bakery (near Rambo) in south Goulburn and also meeting up with Dion at Anthill st - Dickson by 8.30am.
