Date: Sunday 20 June 2021
Destination: Gunning to check out the Holden art work, then off to Gundaroo for lunch at the Colonial Inn Pub
It will take about 1 hr 45 min to get to Gunning. So expect to arrive before 10.30am. Check out the Holden artwork along the side of the mechanic shop then take a short stroll up the road to the Merino Cafe for a coffee and morning tea.
Then we need to be on the road by 12pm to drive 20min down the road to the Colonial Inn Pub in Gundaroo. The pub has a great menu and comes highly recommended. Lunch 12.30pmish
Meet point: Pheasants Nest Road House on Hume Highway
Meet time: 8.00am
Departure time: 8.30am
Food: Morning coffee break at Gunning and lunch at Gundaroo.
!!!!!!!!! Please advise if you are attending asap as we need to book the pub at least one week out. !!!!!!!!!!!
What to Bring:
• WARM CLOTHING !!!
• A full tank of petrol
• UHF radio (and batteries)
• A relaxed frame of mind and a love of the drive.
