So, "Just Car" insurance use the marketing line...If it's not just a car.
So, out of interest I ask for a quote on Grace. I fill out their online Q&A, submit knowing it'll raise a flag straight up and require further info.....which it did. No biggie, I've been there, done that with other insurance companies in the last 12 months.
So I send off a full itemised list of all the mods and $$ spent re HDT and my mods, plus pics to give them a feel for what a HDT New Gen is all about.
Sooooooooo, I get a response today from them. Wait for it.....For a not so cheap premium of $1,590 (with $2,325 excess), they said hey would insure Grace for $25,500.00!!!!!!
Now, I work for an insurance company (not general insurance, but a finance product) and know to a reasonable degree why our policy premiums are going up and level of cover is going down. It's down to the natural disasters a few years back and the cost of re-insurance is being spread across all product classes whilst at the same time, insurers are reducing risk. It is what it is............but this quote from "Just Car" is just jaw dropping.
