Just got home, was a really good race with some great cars. I was thinking this would be a nice club run for next year as you can park up the top next to the track and have plenty of room to spread out. You can even walk through the pits and almost into the sheds. Watching these cars scream past as the sun is rising is amazing to see.

I can definitely see this race becoming much bigger then the Oct race, it has heaps of potential. Im considering skipping the V8 race and making a big weekend with some real race cars instead. I have been hooked on GT racing since witnessing last years event, the last hr today was as good as it gets on tarmac.

I watched some this yesterday and enjoyed it so much more than the V8's. Bring on a series!

Well after 2017 what will the point be of V8 supercars there wont be any Aussi made cars to run.

Greg, keep an eye on the World Endurance Championship, this year Webber will be in his Porsche. I followed the whole season last year and the racing throughout the field is really good. We have the Aussie GT series but you cant beat the professionals from Europe. It was really good to see what some of our smaller teams could do, its no small effort making those GT cars run around the mountain for 12hrs in that heat.

Yep, sounded like a street race and the laps times outstanding.
